AeroTEC Narrow Body Hangar

The AeroTEC Narrow Body Hangar, placed between the two larger Wide Body Hangars on the edge of the Grant County Airport tarmac, is a 32,000 SF structure designed with the Boeing 737 Max in mind, with space to accommodate up to the size of the Boeing 757.

This addition complements the Wide Body Hangars on either side of it, adding a robust workspace to the AeroTEC Flight Test Center at the Moses Lake Airport. The Narrow Body Hangar is the second of three hangars; it houses two telemetry rooms and a data center, instrumentation lab, four briefing rooms, a mobile telemetry trailer and a flight simulator room. The state-of-the-art hangar also boasts a fire control system that, in an emergency, can fill the entire floor with five feet of foam in a matter of minutes, making it possible to bring fully-fueled airplanes into the workspace. As a whole, the testing center is designed to assist clients with everything from heavy maintenance to ground, rig and flight testing.
